Postdoctoral Fellow
Two postdoctoral positions are available at the National Center for Gene Research. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a scientific discipline. As interactions between internal team members and external collaborators will be key, they will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in order to work independently.
Computer Biologist
This position will involve the use of next-generation sequencing technologies for genome annotation or transcriptome analysis. The essential skills for this position include experience of handling biological datasets (large scale) and utilizing scientific databases, eye for detail and good communication skills, and computer literate as well.
Statistical Genetics Analyst
The successful applicant is likely have a PhD or an equivalent level of experience in Statistical Genetics, or a closely related field and a strong background in computer programming. Previous experience of the analysis of genome-wide associations, imputation of genotyping data or next generation sequencing would be a distinct advantage.
Advanced Research Assistant
The essential skills are listed as follows: good communication skills, BSc in Biological Science, Significant graduate experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in biological sciences, experience of successful working in a multidisciplinary team, attention to detail, Organizational skills and Good record keeping, and the ability to successfully maintain multiple collaborative relationships as well.
